Oops, "London (...) is falling down, falling down, falling down" ... all to the left in Photo 1.

Both are a bit dark.
Are these scanned prints?
Did you shoot with film?
If so what kind of film?

yeah they are way dark, but i took them on a 4mp digi cam which i borrowed from a friend and this was as good as they will be looking.

sorry i dont have a $324242342342 digi slr yet

I'm not so sure - PS can do a fairly good job of lightening it up a bit (although noise becomes quite visible).
