Hi all.
I took these photo's on a recent trip 1600kms north. It's a Shingle Back lizard I carried off the road. As you can see he wasn't impressed.

Does he have legs? He looks like a really fat snake! I love the tounge stickin out in the second one...is that his way of warning you off?

Yep he has legs core and that is his way or warning predators.
A far few of the Aussie lizards do this.

Thanks guys, yeah I like to put in the kms. Done another 1600kms plus 2 weeks after in Western Australia, I love exploring new country.

And don't worry I scream like a little girl on the right occasion.

Good work Adam. The second looks like it's about to swallow your camera? Gotta ask, did you lay down on the ground with it to get that pic? Or just set the camera down and fake it? Either way, nice.
