    A number of friends commented they had never seen a purple cricket before. I tell them it has to do with the fresh rose bush leaf it is eating, they think I coloured it lol, my photoshop skills do not extend to colouring in insects sadly. I wish I could. Would appreciate any cc...thanks.

    That's a "rosy" shot!! Sorry for the pun... I do like the shot; having two in there makes it stand out and gives reference point.

    Nice shots. Do they have any chameleon properties to them I wonder?

    It might be a natural selection thing as well. Coloration for camouflage purposes? Either way very cool shots!
