Been a long time since I've posted.... let alone Shot photos. But here are these adorable kittens that spawned somewhere in my neighborhood and moved into my backyard. I've named them Larry, Curly, and Moe.... and i refuse to kick them out.... though they are still scared of me and the camera... so its been Telephoto all the way

all these were handheld and shot with a Nikkor 200mm F4 lens, and a Nikon N90s body, with Kodak Portra 160VC

so excuse the slightly out of focus ones

    The forum is quiet.
    It is summer.
    That must be why.

And I love the fact that you were forced to bring out your telephoto lens in order to get these! I have always liked the effect of the use of a long lens, myself! The blurring in the background is so good, is what I think!

And these three have just "adopted" you and decided to take up residence in the vicinity of your home? So you seem to be the chosen one! They are really pretty. How old do you guess they are? And where do they actually come from? How come they are so absolutely not used to humans and are so skittish and shy?

i think they are about 3-4 months old..... they came from a stray cat that i remember being around...... but they are wild cats..... i would bring them in but i already have a cat and he is very territorial
