My inlaws have these alpacas. Funny little creatures if you ask me. These four white ones, they have had for about 2 months now. Arriving midweek, from New Mexico, will be about 10 more of all different colors. I'll be sure to snap them so you too can see the new arrivals.

Ans I think this is Mo. I might have Puff and Mo mixed up though.

Here's Chad and Skyler with the alpacas. Alpacas are more inquizitive than cats at times.

OK Just curious. I remember seeing an ad a while back talking about how you can make money by raising these things, my question is how? The fur?

You can use the wool the same way as sheep. There's a mini llama farm down the road from us, I guess they are similar. I mean the farm is mini, not the llamas :)

They have really sweet faces! The pics of 'Mo' and 'Puff' are the same animal I think, they both have the number 92 on their tag.

They're very cute. The expression on the boy's face is priceless in the first one!

You can make $$ from thier fur. After it's processed, it feels like cashmire. And it's not as alergenis as sheeps wool. You can also make money for breeding them. I saw a stud, a mating male, sella t auction for over $100,000.

"Puff" and "Mo" have cute faces! No matter who is who. (Only is the first of their two photos sharper ;)).

And I agree with Rob: the expression of Skyler in the first pic is great :D.
