The Answer: How to Photographed A Silhouette Picture

The weather is not fine. The wind is very strong, also very cold.

But I took 8 Hui-Jia Animation Institute’s students to visit Peking Photograph Device City, then arrived at a park named Yu-Yuan lake this day. This is the first example of small photographic technique that I demonstrate to the student.

Aim at the light which behind of the tree, then press shutter.

Uh yeah...

Sometimes I like to have the silhouette more in focus. I also don't like clutter. I prefer simplicity. I shot this for the hell of it when there was nothing else around:

I really thought this would be more expansive.. not just.......

"Look into the light...... ok got that? good, now push the button. The end."

I mean I don't need to know how, I already do. I just expected the word "metering" to be used once or I thought maybe you had a new technique but..... um ok.

true but if someone didn't know how to do this then this would be a great simple start, even if it was just to ask questions

Yes, it's not a rigorous course.
It's only asmall skill under a some conditions.
