Nice composition, I like the way the grass fills the frame, and it's great that you caught him looking at you. Seems like the Dof is really deep for f4 at 300mm no? I'm not very experienced with tele lens' though, I could be mistaken. Do you know what kind of bear this is, looks like maybe a young Grizzly?

It was actually f/5.6 though, the lens @ f/4 plus the 1.4x makes it f/5.6.

Not a Griz, just a black bear, even though the color is brown. I was waiting and hoping for a head turn and finally he did!
