I'd probably own a canon point and shoot before I'd own a Nikon one.

Definitely need a higher shutter, if you reshoot them, they will turn out great.

I still have my Canon, and I love it.. It's higher resolution than my DSLR, and it does live movies with sound.. It takes gorgeous pictures, too.. I paid $500 for it, so it's pretty nice for a point and shoot.
