Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
I'm trying to decide whether I should purchase a full macro lens, for I often take profile/ silhouette pictures, or if I should purchase a wide lens, for I often do landscape.

Any help?

Check out the Tamron lenses with a macro function. I have a 28-75 and it is very versatile.

What you have to decide is what you shoot most and, go for that area. You can use a semi wide lens for the profiles and, landscapes. With extension tubes you can do macro as well. What camera and, what lenses do you have already, that would help people to help you.

What's your camera body, and what lenses do you already have?

Profile/silhouette shots shouldn't really require a macro.

Right now I have a 1:2 Tamron Macro. That's the best I have. I need to expand past lady bugs and flower petals.

It's a Canon XSi. And also I'm looking for clarity. Therefore macro.
