Located at the National Museum of the USAF in Dayton, OH, this camera was developed in 1951 for airborne photo reconnaissance. It was said to be able to take a picture of a golf ball from 45,000' altitude. Camera is a fixed F/8 and 1/400 shutter speed. Apparently it has vibration issues and didn't produce clear results, and made its way into the museum in the 1960's. Not to mention, the camera weighs 6,500 lbs. and required 800 lbs of ballast to balance it for shooting.

Interesting. I suppose the design team didn't know how much vibration planes get.

Not much good for street candids, eh?

Hmmmm....looks like it needs a good pop-up flash unit.

I want one too but I can feel my testicles shrinking as I push the shutter button....
