    I took out the spot under the cats eye but not in the picture.

    That second one is awesome!!!! I think you should try and get the spot removed in photoshop. ;)

    What to improve? Turn your flash off!!!! Flashes aren't flattering to subjects. If you need a flash, I would suggest getting an external flash and bouncing it :)

    Thanks, yes Green and blue:) I do not have an external flash YET:) but will keep that in mind.

    You could also open up all the windows to brighten up the room and use ambient light only, or you could try taking the photo outside in the shade (if its too sunny) with a nice background that is not too distracting. Cool eyes! Don't ruin the shot with on-camera flash up close. :)
