and yeah, my room is pink. shut it.

Just out of curiousity, what do chinchillas "do"? I mean, are they a real pet that you can play and interact with? Do they need 24-7 like dogs or can you take off for the weekend like you can with a cat? Do they smell?

Cool looking animals.

they're pretty low-maintenance, they don't smell, and they're so much fun. most aren't as interactive as ferrets, but they can be so friendly. it's so much fun just to watch them. they're crazy little buggers.

The second photo is cute! :D And the one where one of the two seems to be waving at us. I think it is the sixth. It is all pink in the background. :D
But they HAVE names?
Care to tell us, though we would never know who is who?

Your chinchillas are adorable!!! Mine recently died, at the age of 8, and I miss him so much! He was SO cute just to watch. He was so curious, and so sweet. He would torment my Great Dane so bad...every time he would stick his nose up to the cage, my chin (Rufus) would nip him on the nose. He had no fear whatsoever!

Here is a picture of Rufus!
