Just goofing around last night while showing a buddy how the camera worked and how fast it could shoot pics. I really wasn't trying for anything in particular, but it turned out pretty cool anyway.

    What do you think?

Being a noob, I'm not sure what you're asking. If you're asking for my camera settings here they are.

    ISO: 200
    WB: shade
    Av: 4.5
    Tv: 1/25

The fan blades were stationary and the room was dimly lit.

I think (but not sure) that he was asking if you mind if other people post pictures in your thread too.

Interesting, if it was moving, you could get a great blur effect.

I've always been fascinated with pictures of ceiling fans for some reason... and I'm always taking pictures of them as test pics anyway. Odd. I'm with you.

Someone here once posted a picture of one that got roasted in a fire. That was a cool shot.

Oh! Thanks for the clarification (assuming that's what is being asked).

Sure, please post other pictures to this thread. I love those odd shots you didn't expect to be much but actually turned out pretty interesting.

I took an intro to digital photography over the summer and one of the homework exercises was to shoot something changing only the apperture. So I choose my ceiling fan. It's a small world. (P.S. Please don't notice the dust on the chain.....why did I even have to bring that up!). It's a high ceiling and who would look WAY up there for dust. Right!

The 3 I'm posting were taken with my nifty 50 at 1/200. Apperture settings were f/22, f/5.6, and f/2.8.
