Just in case anyone is looking...

I picked one up because it is a great little back up camera. Nikon D7000 DSLR Camera with 18140mm VR Lens Free Lowepro Format 160 Camera Bag SanDisk Ultra Plus 16GB Memory Card - Best Buy

If you are thrifty like I am you can pick up a 10% off mover's coupon on fleabay also. I found a cashback site also that gives you $10 for signing up and 4% back. $11 in BB rewards, total net cost was about $560 including tax..

It seems to be pretty good under ISO 1600..

What I want is a D7100...for that same $560 price. :D

Yeah, the D7000 is really quite good at ISO1600 or less. I've even gotten pictures at 3200 that are adequate for web viewing. Just don't go trying to print them!

At least, that's MY experience. You can probably get a National Geog-worthy print with it at ISO6400.

I thought about picking one up this summer for a little extra reach with the tammy, might be even cheaper by then.
