Our neighbors brought their dogs over for some fun! As you can tell these were taken back in September, but I just joined the board and would like some general feedback.

    Shot on: NIKON D50

It would help if you would number them next time!! but you got some really nice shots of some beautiful dogs. From the looks of the pictures sure looks like they had some fun.

The b&w photo seems to be like a Nike ad. The dog there and then the conveniently placed "swoosh" right in the shot. Other then that though i like it!

I like any pics of dogs, and these are some nice looking dogs.

I have a video of my Beagle playing with an empty 2-Liter Coke bottle, destroying it to get that last couple drops of coke.

I titled it "The Paws that refreshes"

I like what I see! Looks like you were shooting in the evening with the softer light - a good time to shoot!

One thing though - which you can see in the first 3 photos - is the light angle. As its comming in from the side you are getting one well exposed (in the light) side of the dog and the other side is underexposed and black (the side in shadow). For these situations try to move yourself so that the light is behind you and shining into your subject - that way you won't get one side being shadowed. You can also experiment with flash to fill in the missing light on the darker side (Fill flash)
