The, er, pidgeon of peace!

    Not sure if this is any good or not, thought I'd throw it in for your consideration anyway and see what folk thought! I like it, though not sure if there's enough going on in the photo or the pidgeon's too far away? I cropped some streetlights out from the bottom of the frame, decreased the brightness a bit and increased the contrast but otherwise left it alone.

    I think the main problem is that the pidgeon looks very much like a rock. For a bird that far away, it really needs to be in the "typical soaring bird pose" (you know what I mean, wings out) otherwise it kind of just looks like a dark clump :(

    I very much like the idea you were aiming for, but I think the bird is too far from the rainbow and too far rom the camera :(

    Thanks for the comments, it was a bit spur of the moment as the bird flew into my viewfinder at just the right time, i'll keep trying!
