so i got a ton of film back from the developers today so y'all gona have to excuse the vast ammout of pictures im gona post. i asked for them to put them on a CD for me thinking that they would have a high quality film scanner or something like that, well aparently they dont and if i can be bothered i might scan them in a work later to get better quality images. (trust me, the actual prints are much better then these)
anyway, if you didnt know i work/go to school at Kalamazoo college which is currently hoasting the USTA mens 18 and 16 national tennis championships. so i went out and shot a round or to. i really liked how some of these turned out so i might go back again friday or saturday and take another roll.
i only took 1 roll and 1 match, but i got some good photos i think, this is my first actual sports shoot and as always give me any feed back on how to improve.
this first shot is of Dan Buikema, he has the fastest 18 year old serve in the country at over 130 mph. i saw him hit 135 several times. mind you the shutter speed on all of these pictures is 1/500 or greater. The first one was 1/1000.
getting ready to serve
right after the serve
i got no title for this...
the opponent, who also was winning.
more serving
cool angle
all taken on fugi reala 200 with pentax MX 80-200mm zoom lens shutter 1/500 or 1/1000 f/4.5-8
