Wow, thats a lot of photos. Since you asked which ones work for me:
I like the first couple of the old stuff. (#5 especially)
#13, 16, 25 :thumbup:
#22 is interesting. Too bad you didn't have sharper focus. Same for #27

Those rifles are M1's! Interesting. When were the photos taken?

The rifle pictures were taken outside of the Greek Parliament in Athens.

I like just about all of them, but in number 6 I'd crop the light out.

I have to say I love number #5 the best. There are a lot of other good ones in here too! However, I would say that on #6 I would crop out the street lamo on the side.

Well, my first impression is that all of these are a lot better than your average tourist photo, that is quite, quite obvious. And then I remember, while I was going through them, that I was thinking "5 is really good". I seem to share my thoughts with others here. I also was distracted by the light in 6 and am obviously sharing my thoughts with others, too.

Now as to the photos that do not show the Acropolis, those that I really like a great deal are 20, 21 and 22. A pity that 22 slipped just a tad out of focus. In general, I like your close-up on things, the fact that you got very near to them, filled your frame with them.

The reflection on the hood of the car is also quite distinct and way different from your regular tourist shot.

They show that someone was travelling to Athens who knows what he's doing when he's putting his camera to use!!! :thumbup:

#18 is the best one here IMO. #8 is a close second.

I really like 8-9-12-23 and 28, they're brilliant shots! I can't help feeling that a wider angle would have been better for the first group of shots but I just like wide angle shots in general. I'm very impressed you managed to get a photo of Posh Spice in #18! Great work. keep it up!

Thanks LaFoto for your encouragement. I got a new digital camera the day before I went to Greece. I am very glad to hear there's an improvement in image quality.

Magicmonkey and crawdaddio, thanks to you, too, for your feedback. As for me, I like #4, #8, #12..

These are fantastic. My favourite, I think, is number 8. I also like number 15 very much, particularly the colours and the composition.

The food in 21 makes me hungry straight away and I love the colours in 22 too!

What an interesting city.
