    Yep... the 105 makes a great mid level prime telephoto... I will often carry it over one shoulder on a D80 or D40 and shoot macro on it... but sometimes it is my lens of choice on mid-range shots because it is such a sharp lens.

    :thumbup: The 105 makes for a great mid-range portrait lens as well.

    awesome shot. very sharp. what makes the picture for me is that big smile on his face
