The heavens are opening

    This is the first picture of sky that i've taken, i figured it is time to start broadening my boundries and taking pics of more than just still life objects. So here's my first attempt at this:

    I think they call it a brooding sky! You are on the right track with the clouds diffusing the sun.

    looking at this a second time... porch lighting would have been cool....

    If the individual porch lights were turned on, on each house I think it would have been a neat effect. They couldn't have been over 60 watts though.
