Is that really a light beam on the lighthouse or post processing?

I do like this quite a bit. It reminds me of IR. I wonder if the composition would be better if the inner "V" of the cliffs was higher and to the right. In-other-words, seeing more water on the left and making that point the focus instead of the light house.

Just thinking, please do not get offended. I really do like the photograph, but there is rarely a photograph (especially my own) were I do not wonder what it would look like in a different way.

Thanks Mike, I think what you are seeing is just a break in the clouds, but, it does almost line up.
Thanks Nick, and not offended at all. Its another idea that I can consider if I get there again. I do think however that if the lighthouse is in, it is automatically the subject, whether one chooses or not. Here is a colored version showing perhaps a bit more of the area around the lighthouse.
