Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
I just shot some black and white photos I want to get some feed back by posting them on a forum. Photos are in RAW format on my computer. So What Do I Do Now?

convert to jpeg, then put them on an account like flickr then upload

You can open the photos on the computer and save/convert them to .jpgs using a number of programs. After that, you can upload the images to your choice of online storage (flickr, photobucket, imageshack, etc.)

If you have Photoshop, I would open them in there to get the right quality/size you want them to be converted to.

Also, if you did not know, you can actually change the setting on your digital camera to take pictures in .jpg format. It is less of a hassle and much easier to move from your camera to your computer. I take all of my photos with a setting right below RAW which is "Very High Quality"

Most cameras allow you to set what quality you want your pictures to be taken at, for example:

RAW- Each picture is 5MB
Very High Quality JPG- Each Picture is 3 MB
High Quality JPG- 2MB
Medium Quality JPG- 1 MB
Low Quality- 500KB

Read your camera manual or search for it online to find out how to change what format your camera takes pictures.
