Wow.
But totally appropriate for this very photo, else you'd either have blown the windows or got an all black wooden ceiling and we wouldn't know that it is wooden at all. (Read that sentence out loud, would you or wouldn't you?)

Thanks Corinna. Not HDR in the sense of merging multiple images, but certainly a wider dynamic range than my single out-of-the-camera shot. And probably closer to the composite image that my eye and brain put together when I looked at the different areas of the church. The camera always lies .
