Hmmmm. I interpret the title and picture to mean that your birthplace/home has been destroyed by shelling/gunfire. But then there's that grinning 'eyebrow' smilie. So I too don't know what to make of this.

Nah, I was born in the midwest- That's not very dramatic at all.

It's just a very surreal environment and made me think of a book I read by Harlan Ellison (? -a very long time ago), "A Boy and His Dog."

"Carrera", is a pretentious name for an abandoned concrete plant. However beautiful a name, I've used it before as a title.
