I don't think the yellowish tone works in the first picture as it make the picture look sickly rather than warm or old, but of course it may only look that way to me. I think you hit the nail on the head with the 2nd picture on the second post. I can see the older world charm in that picture, almost expecting Jed Clampot to come out and start whiddling on a stick in his old hillbilly clothes. Good conversion, really like the picture.
