It is sad...I just saw a documentary on him, quite a guy. I always liked him because I'm half-Polish (and a non-Christian), but I never fathomed the important role he played throughout the world. He was a leader in the Solidarity movement across the globe, an acceptor of all faiths, and a Pope who acknowledged the Jews and their suffering during WWII....just to name a few phenomenal attributes.
He's similar to the Dalai Lama in my eyes, when looking at him, I just felt this humble peace within me.
The world was lucky to have him as long as we did...
