    This is an image a day or so prior to the beginning of the demolition of the Ross Building in Binghamton, NY. I was really sad to see it go. I took 1000's of shots during the demolition.

    Nice picture.

    I live in Binghamton too and got a couple of shots of the building, but it was after it was already demolished.

    Contrasts in John05's picture seem to be a lot stronger and a lot more dramatic, though at the size ... :scratch: ... anyhow: such dramatic contrasts are what I am really missing (quite a bit) in yours, MGW. How do you do your conversions? John's looks like he applied the Channel Mixer to his, while yours looks like you simply desaturated your colour pic? Working the Channel Mixer gives you so many opportunities to bring out things in your now (after you have clicked the litte "monochrome" box) greyscale photos!
