the shroom: photoshop editing critic

Well, after seeing some of Joey L's editing videos, I tried some out. Here are my results, CC welcome:

ehhh
kind of a fail on the joey l editting
kinda over board on saturation...

i got really like the composition of the picture it self a lil more

Maybe a little bit brighter. A little to dark for my taste.

I think you did pretty well on the editing part. The greens and blues are slightly oversaturated, which draws away from the mushroom. However, darkening the background was good.

I think that your composition is slightly lacking, (centered mushroom, twigs and branches cluttering the sides of the frame) as was the fact that the before picture doesn't have the whole mushroom sharp.

But your PP skills are okay.

Ya, the composition isn't to great, but I just saw this mushroom and it looked amazing so I quickly took a picture of it without thinking about anything.

I really haven't delved into the whole post proccesing scene, so I definitely have a lot to learn. The psd file had 3 layers with adjusted hues, saturation, curves, and levels.
