The sky is not as it appears.

So I was on my way home this evening and looked at the sky.
The clouds were moving fast, the wind was up and there was just glow.
I wasn't expecting results like these, but I knew it was going to look alot different than the grey's and blues that the human eye saw.

Both 30'sec'ish exposures.
10mm wide angle.
F4.0
Adjusted curves, resized and bordered.
Enjoy.

Wow, I really like the effect on the sky and the trees. Really neat how parts of the tree show much more movement than others.

Was it your car's headlights that illuminated the scene in 1? Very interesting effect! And I do like the movement in the sky and the trees! I do prefer Photo 1 to the other, I must say, despite the line (for washing?) on the left.

Sorry if some people can't see my pictures and some people can.
My host is playing up, I can't view my own website at the moment. They're trying to resolve the issue.
Seems that some people can see it and some people cannot.
I know the composition is awful in these shots, I quickly ran out of the house set tripod up and took a few shots and ran back in as it was freezing.
The light in the images is a security light fitted to the back of the house.
