The south will rise again

    One of the traditions in the south is to instill in their children the heritage of the civil war, commonly referred to as the war of northern aggression.

    I normally don't take these type of shots but was asked by the exhibitors to snap a couple during the re-enactment. I wish it was later in the year as the dead grass distracts from the photo.

    No post processing done yet, just resized to 8x10 aspect ratio and copyright added in batch processing.

    The shot is prety nice, I wished I can see more faces though. I never heard the Civil War refer to as the war of northern agression though.

    I understand what you are saying about seeing more of their faces, however for safety they all turn their heads once they fire. I used that as a cue that the canon was about to fire.

    As for the war of northern aggression, unless your from the south you will not hear that term.
