The tail end of a fire

    I caught a clip of a house fire that was still going. I flew out the door and drove to the street where the fire was happening. By the time I had gotten there, the fire was out so no flames for me today. :grumpy:

    This was actually not too far from where I live. My dad wasn't there but he is on duty today. My mom had called him and told him I was heading out there. My Dad is now to call me when a call comes over the scanner (and if he's not responding). I want to catch a fire in action!

    But I did get some shots of the firefighters doing their clean up and hosing down the hot spots. The house was a total loss. :(

    You've got some brilliant shots there, particularly number 8. I don't know why it stands out amongst all the others, I think it's the contrast between the folliage and the fire.
