    Ah, just to tell you this: never has a photo of a spider come out this crisp for me. Therefore: congratulations to your new house pet ;)

    Oh, God, not at my house, I took this in colorado, we were hanging out on the porch of our cabin, when i looked up at this huge web, and naturally where there is a web (albeit a huge one) there is a spider, and again, a huge one, this thing was gigatnic, hence the quality of the photo. That mushrrom thing on his back was easily the size of a nickel maybe even a quarter! If this was at my house i think i would keel over and die!

    Ugh! I have major arachnophobia and I'll tell you I got goose bumps and shivers just looking at this thing! :pale: This spider would have made me leave that cabin in a hurry... if you don't believe it just ask my dad... he's had more than a few middle of the night wake ups to dispose of various crawly things. I know it's an irrational fear as I live in Canada and we have puney bugs compared to some other places... which is why I can never move south.

    I have never seen anything like that! I would say it was funny looking though not ugly exactly! Must have creeped you out a bit eh? : )

    :no smile: I thinks the spider has an egg sack on it's back. Hope that creeps you out even more.

    edit hmm could be wrong, may be a garden orb spider...
