Taken with a P&S.

I joined this site because all the other sites I was on were pretty much digital only. So here is a shot from the first roll of film I ever shot.

Ive only had my camera for a month but i think i have made a significant improvement. At first it was snapshots, but now im thinking about compostion, DOF, exposure etc. I too, like tharmsen would like to go down the model/portrait route, but only when i feel comfortable with it, and can afford the equipment!

Last month:
1/15s f/1.8 ISO1000 50mm

Yesterday:
1/100s f/8.0 ISO100 50mm

Very nice idea, tharmsen.

Some people show progress and some show the opposite. But it could just be the limitation of such an idea. A couple people obviously think their more recent photo is better when I think the opposite. Part of it is my own taste and another part is the creator's own taste.

Still interesting though. Thank you.

And I would love to have a poster size print of your more recent one. Just love that photo. Even if I would not have cut off her toes on the left. Which, by the way, would have put a bit more space between the end of the gun and the edge of the frame too.
