This Deal Looks To Good!!! New D810 for 2k

Can anyone shed some light on this? When a deal is to good to be true it ain't true in most cases.

It was hard to look for small because I was looking at the models in the top of the ad.

Check the site there and if its not listed be cautious and if the reviews for it say anything along the lines of bait and switch walk away.

You get a lot of scam stores; some will just outright scam you; others will bait and switch; calling to confirm card details and then trying to upsell useless things to you or even saying that the default box contents are false - they will make up anything. The bait and switchers will sometimes send you your stuff - but only if you've played their game and paid for the extras - at which point the cost to you is the same if not higher than the same price at most leading stores - if you don't then they will cancel your order or just say "awaiting stock" forever.


If the price is WAY below the major retailer prices then just walk away - most times it means its a scam.

You might want to check the serial number against the list of stolen equipment that is a sticky on the Buy and Sell forum here. There are a few 810s listed.

Sounds like Digital Outlets.Or some other web-based outfit.

A guy can buy a gray market D810 for $2495 from a number of well-known, USA-based gray market specialists. But $1999??????????? Now, that price has GOT to have some issues behind it....like, "Oh, you want a battery charger AND a battery with that? Well, for only $249 more, we can do that for you!" stuff like that.

Keh had a sell the other day on their used nikon equipment. I almost bought their d810 for 2100$.

The sale was 20% off.

I did get a 70-200 f2.8 Vr 2 for 1800$. Mint, clean, and feels so nice. . I tried getting a d750 but they did not have any.

So not sure if that is where you saw the deal at.
