Spent this evening in one of my elevated perches. Had a good time with some woodpeckers and watching the geese and cranes a bit to far off for any good opportunities. Was watching some deer on the far side of the wetlands when I was caught off guard as about a dozen Whitetail deer came cruising swiftly past me. Something spooked them. I had my 70 -200 with a 1.4 teleconverter in my hand at the time and just fired away. I got some okay pics shooting offhand and here's the best of them. A couple are cropped but nothing else was done with them.

wow, number 2 is great! Love the framing and 'posing', unfortunate that the lighting was poor. cool shot though!
