Thank you as you can tell there is a movement to try to save this old house. It belonged to the first setteler from ALexandria Ohio. A new freeway is going to destroy it. I think it should be saved! You don't find houses lke this anywhere anymore.

Indeed, you don't find old houses like that very often anymore and if someone buys it and restores, i'm sure it could be a very beautiful house once again! It's a shame when they always want to tear down part of history like this, just so they can put in a new road/freeway. If I lived there and had the money, I would definately be interested in saving it! Thanks for sharing :)

Tyson, if you want to help save the house you should contact the people in charge and offer to take pics to show people what a beautiful house it is on the inside as well as on the outside.

Did you not have time to rotate? I understand. Either way they're going to build their freeway, wether it be on top it or right by it. So long as there is a freeway nearby, nobody is going to want to spend the money to restore it.

Nonetheless, good shots, I hope they don't tear it down!

oh, what a beautiful house! such potential there, too bad a freeway will more than likely end up going through.
