Before my solo trip to Myanmar I was the typical shoot anything guy, searching for a niche that seemed to fit.
I was walking in the back streets of downtown Yangon, this was before the tourist explosion, and I hadn't seen any other Westerners for a while.
I passed this alley and had a moment for only one shot.
At the time, some of Yangon neighborhoods were full of economic refugees from eastern India and Nepal who were in Myanmar without papers or much of anything.
