thoughts on this shot?

    I have gotten good feedback on this one from some, and others think it is too dark.........I am not sure how I feel about this one:

    It's a good concept but pretty dark overall. If you could make the background appear lighter (less muddy grey) it would improve this shot in a HUGE way.

    It's cute but it is too dark.. I had to look really hard to figure out what it was. I agree.. if you could just lighten up the background it would look much better

    I agree that its too dark. I do like the idea though.

    I think personally if the background was brighter and the sillettes (sp?) were sharper It would really make this image look killer!

    Try this. Go into levels, leave the black at 0, set the mid grey to 1.5, and the white point to 112. That thing in the upper left still bothers me, and it's a little tilted.

    Yup. There are some other issues that don't work for me and you can't fix without a reshoot, like the location of the light in the background, but the above deals with some of the darkness and contrast.
