Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
It's too bad I couldn't really get the shadow out, but then I wouldn't get the same effect, and besides, it makes it more personal that way ^_^

I liked how the sky was an orange hue, I didn't do anything with white balance, and this is what I got. Also taken with my new lens, 10-20mm !

Cool shots...but for some reason it makes me think of a nuclear winter.

Those are really nice.. I, too, like the way the sky looks....in all three.

lol sorry I just couldn't resist posting a comment here. Is this the same guy who posted a similar moronic comment in your thread awhile ago? Anyway lol very nice photos. It's too bad that the sky doesn't turn orange and bright often here course I would love to go out and take those kind of pics myself and I hope stupid comments won't keep you from posting photos in here in the future :)

No, it's not the same guy, but it doesn't really matter. Lets try to keep this on topic, I'm kind of tired of all my topics being ruined due to off topic things.

I heard that the orange sky was "light pollution" and it somewhat seems right, cause the sky is once again orange today. But I've never seen this in the summer before.

Wow, very cool and interesting!! Kinda creepy but in a cool way! :)
Thanks for posting :D

oops, sorry for the OT.
Back to the topic. It's weird that a small town like the one you are living in has such extreme light pollution :O The sky was only slightly orange today here in Regina too but not as extreme as it was on new years eve. I have seen similar phenomenon in Stockholm in the past and it was always during the winter too. lol maybe a meteorologist (weatherman/woman) can explain this lol.

Haha! I think I should have worn a cow boy hat in that photo ;)

And thanks for comment-ing! :D

In that first one, your tripod looks like a gun. Fun shots.

Whoa! Crazy! I never even noticed that before. Neat!

i like the shadow.
i dont really like the color.
its streetlight color.
oh how i abhor streetlight color.
b/w those and it'll just morph into tones.

True, the color is from the lights. Hehe. I still thought it looked cool for what it's worth :p

I don't understand your "abhor" language, tho :p

I believe this is caused by the "thicker" air. In the cold, the air doesn't really go anywhere. So light pollution is really noticeable. This is my theory anyway. lol.

hmm That sounds like a very good explanation. lol I see you are not only good at taking photos but you also seem to be good at science and stuff. :)
Well we had this snowstorm earlier this evening and the sky was a lil bit orange too maybe it was caused by the falling snow which reflected the lights. I'll just post the links to a few of the pics I took earlier, hope you dont mind.

I have to say, the street photos are getting a little boring, hehe, but maybe it's because I see it everyday.

lol Well I have to admit that it is getting a lil bit boring to take pictures of the same street over and over but as you already know the winter here really blows and I just can't walk too far to take pictures when its -30 outside :p and I really need to buy myself a car or something lol course it's really hard to get to anywhere on foot especially during the winter. So now I have to choose to either save money to buy a car or spend them on accessories for my camera :( Btw I don't think I have ever seen you post any pictures of downtow mj except for those night photos taken outside the casino there :p
