I've been looking with no avail for some sort of tide chart in order to know when the tides are the lowest/ highest during the year in a specific area for shooting seascapes. I've found some simply by googling "tide chart" but they're pretty hard to understand for me and haven't helped any. If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be awesome. Or, if anyone knows when the tides are lowest in Ocean Beach, San Diego, that would be great too.

what days? there are 2 high and 2 low tides each day, one minor and one Major 0 (zero) equals median tide.

so on 11-3 at 1:22 am PST the low tide is 1.01 ft above median tide (minor low tide)
the major low tide is at 2:21 PM and is a -.06 low tide (6" lower than the zero median tide)

    Tide Location Selection for California

Plug details into there for time and location and number of days in your chart. There's nothing much to reading a time chart. You get the Time at the peaks, and the Height. If the number is big, it's a high tide, if the number is small it's a low tide.
