Here is a photo that I took this afternoon. It was taken with my Kodak DX6490.

David, I like the DOF in this shot. Overall I'd like to see a bit more space either to the lower right, or upper left so the flowers aren't centered in the frame.

But my major issue is the flatness of the shot. It looks like this was either in the shade, or in heavy overcast. It feels slightly underexposed, so it lacks punch.

If you increase the contrast a bit and maybe a slight saturation bump I think you'll be pleased with the results. :)
 
Nice shot, but as stated, it's kinda flat and underexposed. I think you'd be surprised by just taking any virtually imaging program you have and simply using their "Quick Fix", "One Step Photo Fix", or whatever auto-fix function.
 
Ditto on all the above posts...Good DOF, comp, but the exposure is way off, at least on my monitor (which is a bit dark here at work)

Good work.
