    wow, those are nice clouds! very contrasty. Did you do any HDR-type processing?

    No HDR.
    Simple B&W conversion for a single exposure.
    Little Burn and dodge :)

    the sky says "dark", but the ground is saying "sunny day on the lake" and i'm having an inner struggle over which one is more predominant

    How did you manage 1/4000 @f16, ISO 100? Was there a supernova somewhere?

    It was one of those days where it is really hot and the sun can be beating down on you, but it's also quite cloudy.
    I don't think the aperture on the lens I'm using is very accurate Max.
    It's a manual lens attached with a M42 adapter and f/16 is the max aperture,
