To DNG or not to DNG?

Found this on a blog and thought it was something to consider, I have downloaded it and may try it out at least. I would be interested in what others think.

Ever since I got LightRoom I almost always shoot RAW and save as DNG. Space is not an issue and I have see how quickly jpgs degrade.
