interesting concept it has a different spin. The attention seems to draw to the woman because of the coloring, but then you follow her gaze to the staircase anyway. The pipe on the right seems to balance the frame but doesn't significantly stand out. The signs on the stair case do but only after attention seems drawn to the woman first. Least for me my eyes are drawn almost immediately to her (despite her being half out of the frame).
. I find myself wondering what it says on the sign to the right of the stairs but I cant quite read it.

kind of like this one.
 
i love the fact that the lady on the left is totally cut in half, but she somehow still draws my attention, i call it a win.
 
Glad you chose color.
This needed the whole woman to work IMO.
More left and less right. ;)
