To the moon

Hey people! I would like critique on this picture as well as any suggestions for moon shots. Thanks!

The moon is too small, its also out of focus, and what looks like a curtain on the left is distracting, it looks like it was shot through a window!
to shoot good moon shots you need a fairly powerful telephoto lens, some of my favorite moon photos are in some of Ansell Adams b & w landscape shots.

I like the contrast between the blue and orange a lot, but that's about it. I agree, the moos is too small. Also, I don't like that it is so crooked.

i understand the composition that you were getting at.
i just think that you could maybe get the curtain in focus also and see what we can help you with after that.
im sure that the moon will look better after the curtain is in focus.
