Here are a couple of shots I took of the CH-53 as they taxied by just the other day. Would not like to be in their shoes, especially behind that gun hanging out the back.

I like the second shot best with the 2 helicopters. It has some sense of motion because it loks like one is following the other. Too bad about the blue/green haze in it, it needs a tiny bit of red IMO. Very nice photo though, I like it.

The first is well shot, nothing wrong with it. But there's nothing happening. And since I don't really care about airplanes and stuff, it will only be interesting for an aviation fan...

I'm confused: you can take photos at a militairy airport with a professional camera and post them on the internet??? I wouldn't dare to do that in most countries. I can remember a couple of Dutch aviation fans getting arrested for photographing militairy airplanes at a commercial airport in Greece a couple of years ago.

Whoa thats a big copter, never seen one of those before
Sikorsky make some good looking copters but nothing looks as good as a Mil Mi-24 in my mind

the 2nd shot is better in my mind, more life to it

im in the marines. im stationed at edwards airforce base. there's like 200 of us up there.
