Does anyone have this lens or have you heard anything about it? I wanted to get a good wide angle lens that will offer some interesting perspective and this one promises to deliver. But I can never decide!

Any other suggestions on another wide angle that offers neat perspective?

Thanks!

Jen

I've heard plenty of good things about the Tokina 12-24mm (specifically that it has great build quality). But I've never heard about the 10-17mm (had to look it up).

I guess it might be OK...as long as you know that it's a fish-eye and not a rectilinear wide angle lens.

I have the sigma 10-22 and love it. I just wasn't sure I would get the use out of the fisheye. Also, I got a great deal on craigslist and couldn't pass it up.

When the times comes to buy a fisheye, I'll probably go this route. I love Tokina's tank-like build quality, and the IQ is good as well. Plus, having the slight versatility of having a fisheye zoom appeals to me. It's supposedly based on the Pentax glass that has achieved quite a name for itself among the pentax crowd.
