I've been looking at the Tokina Zoom Telephoto AF 80-200mm f/2.8 AT-X 828AF Pro Autofocus Lens for use on my Canon 10D and I wonder if anyone has had any experience with the lens?
I intend to use it for indoor sporting events such as ice hockey etc. and it seems the zoom range and F2.8 thoughout the range would be ideal in low light conditions.
All input gratefully received.

I had an old manual focus Tokina 80-200 2.8 years ago that came with a 10 year warranty. Seven years after I bought it it somehow came apart internally, most likely due to use and travel. The store sent it back and it was returned in like new condition and there was no charge for the repair or shipping. It's a good sharp lens that is still being used by the college student I gave it to 4 years ago when I bought a Nikon 80-200 2.8AF. Last year I bought a Tokina AF 20-35mm f/2.8 AT-X 235AF Pro IF, it's a really good lens.

Thanks for the feedback folks, much appreciated!
