Too dark?

This is my second time being able to use "studio" equipment.. I really REALLY like the dark feel to my studio pictures for some reason..And yes I purposely made it that dark with her standing out.. I have to say I love this picture, but what are your opinions? I'm no where near professional...

Actually, I really like this. I think I might have preferred her to be centred, but the lighting and the colours are really nice

I really like it. If there is a problem with this shot, then it's that the ball is a bit too bright – shouldn't be her face the brightest spot in the image?

The lighting is o.k., but the pose is not very good.

1. No eye contact with the subject.
2. All the softball paraphernalia is in a straight line.

To improve the lighting, get a bit more light on her face.

It's a little dark for my taste. Also not crazy about the light hiding some of the "GT" logo on the helmet.
