Too good to be true?

YES.. we see these scam artist's websites posted here all the time

http://www.resellerratings.com/store/FotoConnection_1

Their address registered is pretty shady... Their domain (they have several actually) is registered through network solutions. The domain registered address is in VA. Their website comes up in the www.bbb.org search as several different address all linked to www.fotoconnection.com all in the NYC area. Sure seems like they are hiding their tracks. The most important thing to note is that they have alot of filed complaints made on bbb.org against them. A large majority goes "unresponsive".

With the exception of the well known ones like
bhphoto.com
adorama.com
photovillage.com
tamarkin.com
.. there are a few more.

The vast majority of the online camera stores based in NYC are pure scams.

Bait and switch camera shops. That's the word lately... and sadly, you know they will rip off tons of people because it's to easy to assume a different online identity. Apparently it happens alot!

Check out this guys saga...

I personally won't trust any retailer I haven't heard of before with something like this. I'm just a regular working guy and can't really afford a $400 mistake. I say if it's too cheap, there's a reason for that!
